High-level Symposium on Peace and Development Problems of Conflict in Africa

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, United Nations and United Nations University have hosted the above symposium on 11th and 12th of October 1995 to discuss problems of conflict for the sustainable development in African countries by inviting 21 prominent persons from Africa, donor countries and international organizations. In this symposium, the prevension, management and resolution of current conflicts in this region were mainly discussed.
