Japan is deeply saddened to learn that many precious lives were lost in the landslides that occurred in the Republic of the Sudan on August 31.
Japan prays for the souls of the victims and extend its deepest condolences to the bereaved families. Japan also offers its heartfelt prayers for the swift recovery of the injured and early reconstruction of the disaster-stricken area.
