State Minister for Foreign Affairs HORII Attends American Film Night

On October 27, Mr. HORII Iwao, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan attended “American Film Night,” hosted by the Motion Picture Association (MPA) and The Hollywood Reporter Japan (THR), and delivered opening remarks.
In his remarks, State Minister HORII stated that the Government of Japan is actively promoting the overseas expansion of Japan’s content industry and that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is also committed to showcasing the appeal of Japanese content, including films, to audiences around the world.
