Meeting between Director-General of the European Affairs Bureau NAKAMURA, and Director of the Third Asian Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation VOROBYOVA

  1. On October 20, Dr. NAKAMURA Kimitake, Director-General of the European Affairs Bureau, who was visiting Moscow, Russia, held a meeting with Ms. VOROBYOVA Lyudmila Georgievna, Director of the Third Asian Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  2. During the meeting, Director-General NAKAMURA made a demarche and an argument, based on the position of the Government of Japan, regarding various current issues between Japan and Russia.
  3. Both sides concurred to continue communication, including discussions on these issues, amid the severe situation in Japan-Russia relations.
