Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs FUNAKOSHI’s visit to Europe
From October 14 to October 17, Mr. FUNAKOSHI Takehiro, Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, will travel to Brussels, Kingdom of Belgium, and Paris, French Republic. During his visit to Brussels, Vice-Minister Funakoshi will exchange views with Ms. Kajsa Ollongren, Secretary-General of the European Union’s European External Action Service (EEAS), and Mr. Geoffrey van Leeuwen, Chief of Staff of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). During his visit to Paris, Vice-Minister Funakoshi will meet with Mr. Martin Briens, Secretary-General of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, and other senior French government officials. Vice-Minister Funakoshi will engage in a wide-ranging exchanges of views on topics including further strengthening cooperation with the EU and NATO, as well as with France.
