Additional Measures under the IAEA Framework Related to the Discharge of ALPS Treated Water into the Sea

As a part of the additional measures under the IAEA framework that Japan and the IAEA concurred on conducting in September 2024, IAEA officials and experts from third-party laboratories will visit Japan and collect samples on October 7.
- This is the 12th mission for conducting the additional measures since October 2024.
- The third-party laboratories from China, the Republic of Korea, Russia, and Switzerland, will participate in the additional measures.
