Visit to Japan of H.E. Mr. Bakhtiyor SAIDOV, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan

H.E. Mr. Bakhtiyor SAIDOV, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan will visit Japan from September 17 to September 19.
- During his stay in Japan, the second Japan - Uzbekistan Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue will be held to exchange views on bilateral relations and regional situations.
- It is expected that Minister Saidov’s visit to Japan will further strengthen the bilateral relations between Japan and Uzbekistan.

This marks Minister Saidov’s third visit to Japan. He previously visited Japan in March 2024 as a guest of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and in December 2025, when he accompanied President Mirziyoyev for the Summit of the "Central Asia plus Japan" Dialogue (CA+JAD).

In August 2025, the first Japan - Uzbekistan Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue between Mr. IWAYA Takeshi, then Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, and Minister Saidov, was held during Minister IWAYA’s visit to Uzbekistan.
This time, the second Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue will be held.
