Japan-Oman International Law Dialogue (in VTC format)

On September 8th, the Japan-Oman International Law Dialogue was held in VTC format.

  1. Dr. NAKAMURA Kazuhiko, Legal Adviser and Director-General, International Legal Affairs Bureau, headed the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. From the Omani side, Thani Harith al Mahrouki, Chief of the Continental Shelf and Maritime Affairs Office at the Foreign Ministry of the Sultanate of Oman, and other officials participated in the dialogue from the Continental Shelf and Maritime Affairs Office, and Legal Department, and Asia and Pacific Department.
  2. Both sides exchanged their views on matters including issues related to international law regarding the situation surrounding the Strait of Hormuz.
