Emergency Grant in Response to the Flash Flood Disaster in Nepal

On September 8, the Government of Japan decided to provide an Emergency Grant of USD 3 million in response to the flash flood disaster in Nepal.
With this Emergency Grant, the Government of Japan will provide humanitarian assistance in such sectors as food, health, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) through the World Food Programme (WFP), the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), and the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
