Japan-U.S.-ROK Consultations on International Disaster Relief

On September 3, the Japan-U.S.-Republic of Korea (ROK) Consultations on International Disaster Relief were held in Tokyo, hosted by Japan.
The consultations were held with the participation of diplomatic, defense, and disaster relief experts from the three countries. They concurred on cooperation on relief efforts, including rapid information sharing in the event of disasters occurring overseas, and reaffirmed continuing discussions and maintaining close coordination going forward.
