Meeting between Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs FUNAKOSHI and United States Senator Steve Daines

On August 26, commencing at 9:30 a.m., for approximately 50 minutes, Mr. FUNAKOSHI Takehiro, Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, held a meeting with Senator Steve Daines, United States Senate, who is visiting Japan.
At the outset, Vice Minister FUNAKOSHI welcomed the Senator’s visit to Japan. Both sides exchanged views on Japan-U.S. relations and regional affairs and concurred to work closely together to further strengthen Japan-U.S. relations.
