Japan-U.S.-ROK Trilateral Coordinating Secretariat Meeting
On August 24, local time (on August 25, Japan time), Mr. ARIYOSHI Takashi, Deputy Director-General, Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, held a Japan-U.S.-ROK Trilateral Coordinating Secretariat Meeting in Washington D.C. with Mr. David Wilezol, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Japan, Korea and Mongolia, Department of State of the United States of America, and Mr. Yoo Seungmin, Deputy Director-General for North American Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea (ROK).
They welcomed the continued commitment of Japan-U.S.-ROK to enhance the trilateral cooperation and reviewed the concrete advancement of the trilateral cooperation in a wide range of fields. They also concurred that they would continue to work together through the Trilateral Coordinating Secretariat to further accelerate momentum and advance their coordination on North Korea and their cooperation in security, including economic security.
