Director-General of the Middle East and Africa Bureau IWAMOTO’s visit to Lebanon

On August 4, Mr. IWAMOTO Keiichi, Director-General of the Middle East and Africa Bureau MOFA, visited Beirut, Lebanon, and had discussions with H.E. Mr. Tarek MITRI, Deputy Prime Minister, three Lebanese economy-related ministers, and Mr. Tony MANSOUR, Advisor to the President of Lebanon. Both sides agreed to strengthen communication across various fields and levels, including high-level visits. Both sides also confirmed to work together to enhance cooperation for peace and stability in the Middle East including Lebanon.
