The 11th Japan-Israel Strategic Consultation

On July 28 in Tokyo, Mr. NAMAZU Hiroyuki, Senior Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, held the 11th Japan-Israel Strategic Consultation with Mr. Eden Bar Tal, Director General, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel during Mr. Bar Tar’s visit to Japan.
- Both sides had a wide-ranged and candid exchange of views on international situations, including the Middle East and the Indo-Pacific, as well as the ways to enhance bilateral relations.
- Both sides concurred on continued communication at various levels.

The Strategic Consultation between Japan and Israel was decided to be established at the summit meeting between the two countries in July 2006. Since then, both sides had held ten consultations under this framework.
