Japan-U.S.-ROK Consultations on International Disaster Relief

On July 22, the Japan-U.S.-Republic of Korea (ROK) Consultations on International Disaster Relief were held online, hosted by Japan.
The consultations were held with the participation of diplomatic, defense, and disaster relief experts from the three countries. The meeting focused on cooperation toward improving the effectiveness and agility of relief operations in the event of disasters occurring overseas. The three countries concurred to continue discussions and maintain close coordination going forward.
