TICAD Co-Organizers’ Meeting

On July 21 and 22, the Co-Organizers' Meeting of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) will be held in Tokyo.

  1. The co-organizers of TICAD, which consists of the Government of Japan, the United Nations, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the World Bank, and the African Union Commission (AUC), will participate in the meeting.
  2. At this Co-Organizers’ Meeting, participants will review progress made in the TICAD process since TICAD 9, which was held in Yokohama in August 2025. The co-organizers will also exchange views on preparations for TICAD 10, which is scheduled to take place in Africa in 2028.
