Courtesy Call on Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs ONISHI by Mr. ALMOHAMMADAGHA, Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of Syria in Japan

On June 29, H.E. Mr. ONISHI Yohei, Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call by Mr. Abdul Wahab ALMOHAMMADAGHA, Chargé d'Affaires ad interim, Embassy of Syria in Japan.
- At the outset, Parliamentary Vice Minister ONISHI welcomed Chargé d’Affaires ad interim ALMOHAMMADAGHA on his assumption of duties, and mentioned that Japan will support comprehensive, peaceful, and stable transition by the Syrian government and people, in cooperation with the international community.
- Chargé d’Affaires ALMOHAMMADAGHA, in reply, conveyed his appreciation for Japan’s support and political position, addressed Syria’s present international status, and requested further support and cooperation from Japan.
- Both parties concurred to continue cooperating towards strengthening Japan-Syria relations in the future.
