State Minister for Foreign Affairs HORII’s Visit to Solomon Islands and Australia

Mr. HORII Iwao, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, will visit Solomon Islands and Australia from June 27 to July 1.
- In Solomon Islands, State Minister HORII is scheduled to exchange views with Prime Minister Matthew Cooper Wale, who took office in May this year, as well as with other officials of the Government of Solomon Islands, with a view to further strengthening bilateral relations.
- In Australia, State Minister HORII is scheduled to meet with officials of the Government of Australia to discuss further strengthening cooperation between Japan and Australia. He will also attend a gala dinner celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Signing of the Basic Treaty of Friendship and Co-operation between Japan and Australia.
