Exchange of Letters between the Foreign Ministers of Japan and Morocco on the Occasion of the 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations

On June 19, Japan and Morocco celebrated the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
On this day, Mr. MOTEGI Toshimitsu, Foreign Minister of Japan, and H.E. Mr. Nasser Bourita, Foreign Minister of Morocco, exchanged letters to commemorate the 70th anniversary. In their letters, both ministers welcomed the development of bilateral relations in recent years, including the Japan-Morocco Foreign Ministers' Video Conference held in May of this year and the issuance of a Joint Statement on that occasion, and expressed their expectation that exchanges and cooperation in a wide range of fields would be further promoted based on the "Reinforced Partnership" between the two countries.
