Courtesy Call on State Minister for Foreign Affairs HORII from the Parliamentary Association for the Promotion of Overseas Education

On June 15, commencing at 3:00 p.m., Mr. HORII Iwao, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, received a courtesy call from the parliamentary association for the promotion of overseas education (Chairman SAKAMOTO Tetsushi, Vice Chairman UENO Michiko, and Secretary-General TANOSE Taido), for approximately 20 minutes.

  1. The parliamentary association for the promotion of overseas education submitted a document titled “Resolution on Enhancing Measures for the Promotion of Overseas Educational Facilities” to State Minister HORII and requested strengthened support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for overseas educational facilities, including Japanese schools worldwide.
  2. In response, State Minister HORII stated that overseas educational facilities are an important foundation for Japanese nationals and Japanese companies in their global activities, and expressed his intention to continue to make efforts to provide support.
