Japan-U.S.-ROK Trilateral Coordinating Secretariat Meeting
On June 12, Mr. OTSUKA Kengo, Deputy Director-General, Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, held a Japan-U.S.-ROK Trilateral Coordinating Secretariat Meeting in Tokyo with Mr. Yi Wonwoo, Director-General for North American Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea (ROK), and Mr. David Wilezol, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Japan, Korea and Mongolia, Department of State of the United States of America.
They reviewed the concrete advancement of the trilateral cooperation in a wide range of fields, and concurred that they would work together through the Trilateral Coordinating Secretariat to further accelerate momentum and advance their coordination on North Korea and their cooperation in security, including economic security.
