Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs SHIMADA’s attendance at the reception to celebrate the Finnish Defence Forces Flag Day

On June 4, Mr. SHIMADA Tomoaki, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, attended the reception to celebrate the Finnish Defence Forces Flag Day held at the Embassy of Finland in Tokyo, and delivered his remarks on behalf of the Government of Japan.
- At the opening of the reception, Parliamentary Vice-Minister SHIMADA delivered his remarks, following the remarks by H.E. Ms. Tanja Jääskeläinen, Ambassador of Finland to Japan, and Defence Attaché of Finland, Captain (N) Jan Engström.
- In his remarks, Parliamentary Vice-Minister SHIMADA referred to Finland's comprehensive security, among other topics, and stated that Japan would like to continue to work closely with Finland in various fields including security and defense.
