Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs ERI’s Visit to Uruguay and Paraguay

From June 3 to June 10, Ms. ERI Arfiya, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, will visit Uruguay and of Paraguay.
- In Uruguay, Parliamentary Vice-Minister ERI is scheduled to attend a cultural event commemorating the 105th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Uruguay, co-hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uruguay and the Embassy of Japan in Uruguay. She will also hold meetings with Mr. Mario LUBETKIN, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uruguay, and others to further strengthen bilateral relations.
- In Paraguay, Parliamentary Vice-Minister ERI is scheduled to attend a ceremony related to a parliamentary resolution designating the 90th anniversary of Japanese immigration to Paraguay as a "matter of national interest" and the issuance of commemorative stamps. She will also hold meetings with Mr. Rubén Dario RAMÍREZ LEZCANO, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay, and others to confirm the strong Japan-Paraguay relationship.
