Attendance by Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs SHIMADA at the Regular General Meeting of Members of the Amicale au Japon pour la Maison de la culture du Japon à Paris

On May 26, Mr. SHIMADA Tomoaki, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan attended the Regular General Meeting of Members of the Amicale au Japon pour la Maison de la culture du Japon à Paris and delivered remarks.
- In his remarks, Parliamentary Vice-Minister SHIMADA expressed his gratitude, stating that the Maison de la culture du Japon à Paris (MCJP), a hub for sharing Japanese culture in France since its opening in 1997, will be able to celebrate its 30th anniversary next year thanks to the continuous support of the members of the Amicale au Japon pour la Maison de la culture du Japon à Paris.
- In addition, he stated that he expects the collaboration between the MCJP and Amicale au Japon pour la Maison de la culture du Japon à Paris to deepen further in the lead up to MCJP’s 30th anniversary in 2027 and the 170th anniversary in 2028 of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and France.
