Vice Minister FUNAKOSHI’s Travel to India
From May 10 to 11, Mr. FUNAKOSHI Takehiro, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, will travel to Delhi, India. During his visit, Vice Minister FUNAKOSHI will have the second meeting of the Japan-India Economic Security Dialogue as well as the Japan-India Vice Minister-Foreign Secretary Dialogue with Amb. Vikram Misri, Foreign Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs of India.
At the second meeting of the Japan-India Economic Security Dialogue, they plan to discuss the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the field of economic security, including enhancing the resilience of supply chains for critical materials. During the Japan-India Vice Minister-Foreign Secretary Dialogue, in addition to bilateral relations, they plan to exchange views on a wide range of issues, including cooperation toward realizing a free and open Indo-Pacific as well as regional issues.
