Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs ERI’s Attendance at “the Japan Disaster Relief Expert Team Formation Ceremony in the Response to the Fire Incident at the Navotas Sanitary Landfill in the City, the Philippines"
On April 23, the Japan Disaster Relief (JDR) Expert Team Formation Ceremony in response to the Fire Incident at the Navotas Sanitary Landfill in the Philippines was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. Ms. ERI Arfiya, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, attended and delivered remarks.
She encouraged the JDR Expert Team and stated that Japan and the Philippines are neighboring countries separated by the sea, and that providing the technologies and expertise Japan has cultivated in the relevant fields in response to this fire incident represents meaningful cooperation that will further strengthen the bilateral relationship, particularly in this milestone year marking the 70th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and the Philippines.
