Meeting between Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs ERI and Mr. Marcel Jacco DE VINK, Director-General for Political Affairs (Vice Minister), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands

On April 21, commencing at 10:40 a.m. for approximately 25 minutes, Ms. ERI Arfiya, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, held a meeting with Mr. Marcel Jacco DE VINK, Director-General for Political Affairs (Vice Minister), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, who was visiting Japan.
- Parliamentary Vice-Minister ERI offered her congratulations on the formation of the new Dutch government in February of this year and expressed her hope to continue developing the excellent relations between Japan and the Netherlands, which have spanned more than 400 years.
- Parliamentary Vice-Minister ERI expressed her high appreciation for the deepening security cooperation between the two countries. Both sides concurred to continue strengthening cooperation in this field.
- Both sides confirmed that cooperation between the two countries is progressing in fields such as semiconductors and concurred to continue strengthening cooperation in the field of economic security.
