The 4th Consular Consultations between Japan and Thailand

On April 16th, the Fourth Consular Consultations between Japan and Thailand were held in Tokyo. Mr.MIBAE Taisuke, Director-General of the Consular Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, and Mr. Mungkorn PRATOOMKAEW, Director-General of the Consular Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, both with the participation of other officials, attended the consultations.
- The participants exchanged constructive views on matters of mutual interests in the consular field, including those related to their nationals in both countries. Furthermore, in view of the next year marking the 140th anniversary of Japan - Thailand diplomatic relations, both sides confirmed to work together to further strengthen cooperation in the consular field.
- The next consultations will be held in Thailand and be scheduled through diplomatic channels.
