Exchanging of views between Parliamentary Vice-Minister ERI and Ms. Rania DAGASH-KAMARA, Assistant Executive Director of WFP

On April 2, commencing at 4:00 p.m. for approximately 45 minutes, Ms. ERI Arfiya, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call from Ms. Rania DAGASH-KAMARA, Assistant Executive Director of the World Food Programme (WFP), who is currently visiting Japan. The overview is as follows:

  1. At the outset, Parliamentary Vice-Minister ERI stated that Japan values its partnership with the WFP and expressed Japan’s intention to collaborate closely in responding to humanitarian crises. In response, Assistant Excecutive Director Dagash expressed gratitude for Japan’s support to the WFP and conveyed her desire to continue cooperationg closely with Japan.
  2. In addition, both parties exchanged views on humanitarian crises and the situation surrounding humanitarian support around the world.
