Courtesy Call on State Minister HORII by Mayor Andre Dickens of the city of Atlanta

On March 25, commencing at 10:25 a.m. for approximately 30 minutes, Mr. HORII Iwao, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call from Mayor Andre Dickens of the City of Atlanta during his visit to Japan. The overview is as follows:
- State Minister HORII welcomed Mayor Dickens to Japan and stated that the current strong Japan-U.S. relations are supported by multi-layered exchanges, including those at the State and city level.
- On top of that, State Minister HORII and Mayor Dickens exchanged views on Japan-U.S. cooperation in a wide range of fields, including economy and people-to-people exchanges.
- Mayor Dickens stated that Japan is an important partner and highly valued the investments by Japanese companies in the City of Atlanta, and expressed their intention to continue strengthen relations with Japan.
