Dispatch of Ambassador on Special Mission (Member of the House of Representatives MATSUSHIMA) to the Inauguration Ceremony of the President of the Republic of Chile
On March 6, the Government of Japan decided to send Ms. MATSUSHIMA Midori, a Member of the House of Representatives, as Ambassador on Special Mission to the inauguration ceremony of H.E. José Antonio KAST RIST, President of the Republic of Chile to be held in Valparaiso, of the Republic of Chile, on March 11.
Japan and Chile are strategic partners sharing values and principles, and through diplomatic relations spanning nearly 130 years, the two countries have deepened their cooperative ties in various fields, including politics, economy, and culture. Further developing this amicable relationship between our two countries is why we have decided to appoint Representative MATSUSHIMA, Chairman of the Japan-Chile Parliamentary Friendship League, as Special Envoy and send her to the ceremony.
