Exchange of views between State Minister KUNIMITSU and the delegation of Members of Indian Parliament

On March 5, from 5:00 p.m. JST for approximately 30 minutes, Dr. KUNIMITSU Ayano, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call by the delegation of Members of Indian Parliament, headed by Mr. Manish Tewari. The overview is as follows.

  1. State Minister KUNIMITSU stated that Japan and India are “Special Strategic Global Partners” which share fundamental values and expressed her intention to steadily advance cooperation across a wide range of fields, including economy, investment, and innovation based on the Japan-India Joint Vision for the Next Decade announced during Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Japan in last August.
  2. The delegation of Members of Indian Parliament stated that they would like to contribute to the further development of the bilateral relations.
