Courtesy Call on State Minister KUNIMITSU by the delegation of Members of Indian Parliament

On March 5, from 5:00 p.m. JST for approximately 30 minutes, Dr. KUNIMITSU Ayano, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call by the delegation of Members of Indian Parliament, headed by Mr. Manish Tewari. The overview is as follows.
- State Minister KUNIMITSU stated that Japan and India are “Special Strategic Global Partners” which share fundamental values and expressed her intention to steadily advance cooperation across a wide range of fields, including economy, investment, and innovation based on the Japan-India Joint Vision for the Next Decade announced during Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Japan in last August.
- The delegation of Members of Indian Parliament stated that they would like to contribute to the further development of the bilateral relations.
