Visit to Japan by H.E. Shekerinska, NATO Deputy Secretary General

From March 5 to 6, H.E. Radmila Shekerinska, Deputy Secretary General of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), will visit Japan at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- During her stay, Deputy Secretary General Shekerinska will exchange views with Japanese government officials and others and conduct sited visits and discussions with Japanese companies in the defense industry and startups.
- This visit is expected to deepen NATO’s understanding of the severe security environment in the Indo-Pacific and the efforts by the Japanese government and industry and to further strengthen the strategic partnership between Japan and NATO and between NATO and its Indo-Pacific partners (IP4: Japan, Australia, New Zealand, the Republic of Korea).
