Courtesy Call on Foreign Minister MOTEGI by H.E. Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, the Republic of India

On February 25, commencing at 5:30 p.m. for approximately 25 minutes, Mr. MOTEGI Toshimitsu, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call from H.E. Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, the Republic of India, currently visiting Japan. The overview is as follows:

  1. Minister MOTEGI welcomed the visit of Chief Minister Yogi and stated that Japan and India are “Special Strategic Global Partner” which share fundamental values and strategic interests, and that cooperation is advancing across a wide range of fields, including exchanges between local governments of both countries.
  2. In response, Chief Minister Yogi stated that he would like to further deepen cooperation between Japan and Uttar Pradesh.
