Exchange of Views between Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs FUNAKOSHI and the G7 Ambassadors to Japan

On February 17, commencing at 6:30 p.m. for approximately two hours, Mr. FUNAKOSHI Takehiro, Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, held an exchange of views with the Ambassadors and others of the G7 countries to Japan. The overview is as follows:
- At the outset, Vice-Minister FUNAKOSHI explained Japan’s position on international affairs including the recent situation in the Indo-Pacific and the participants. engaged in a candid exchange of views.
- The participants concurred that the G7 would continue to work closely together in addressing the various challenges facing the international community.
