Courtesy call on State Minister for Foreign Affairs KUNIMITSU by H.E. Mr. Przydacz, Secretary of State, Head of International Policy Bureau of the Chancellory of the President of the Republic of Poland

On February 17, commencing at 5:20 p.m. for approximately 30 minutes, Dr. KUNIMITSU Ayano, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call from H.E. Mr. Marcin Przydacz, Secretary of State, Head of International Policy Bureau of the Chancellory of the President of the Republic of Poland, who is visiting Japan. The overview is as follows:
- At the outset, State Minister KUNIMITSU expressed her satisfaction about existing ties between President of the Republic of Poland Karol Tadeusz Nawrocki, and also underlined her expectations that the friendly relations between Japan and Poland will further develop.
- State Minister KUNIMITSU also noted that the two countries have steadily strengthened their relations in a wide range of areas, including the economy, education, and culture. She emphasized Japan’s intention to continue efforts in various fields, including public-private partnership, in order to promote regional cooperation under the Three Seas Initiative (3SI), which is led by Poland.
- Both sides exchanged views on the regional situation, including developments in Ukraine, and confirmed their commitment to strengthening relations across various fields, such as cooperation in international affairs.
