Meeting between State Minister for Foreign Affairs HORII Iwao and H.E. Mr. Borkhuu DELGERSAIKHAN, Minister of Road and Transport of Mongolia

On February 6, from at 2:00 p.m. for approximately 45 minutes, Mr. HORII Iwao, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Borkhuu DELGERSAIKHAN, Minister of Road and Transport of Mongolia, who is visiting Japan at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. The overview of the meeting is as follows:
- At the outset, State Minister HORII welcomed Minister Delgersaikhan’s visit to Japan, and expressed his great pleasure in seeing various cooperation and exchanges actively taking place between Japan and Mongolia as "Special Strategic Partners." In response, Minister Delgersaikhan expressed his gratitude for Japan's welcome and stated his desire to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
- Minister Delgersaikhan also expressed his gratitude for the contribution of the Chinggis Khaan International Airport, which has become a symbol of the cooperation and friendship between Japan and Mongolia, to Mongolia’s economy, and for Japan's support in various fields. The two sides concurred to continue cooperating towards Mongolia's autonomous development.
