Visit to Japan by H.E. Ms. Gunnarsdóttir, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Iceland

H.E. Ms. Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Iceland, will visit Japan from February 17 to February 22, as a guest of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
- During her stay in Japan, Minister Gunnarsdóttir will hold a Foreign Ministers’ meeting with Mr. MOTEGI Toshimitsu, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, where they will exchange views on bilateral cooperation, regional affairs. Minister Gunnarsdóttir will also hold a working dinner with Dr. KUNIMITSU Ayano, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan.
- Through the visit by Minister Gunnarsdóttir, it is expected that the bilateral relation with Iceland will be further strengthened.

Minister Gunnarsdóttir visited Japan in 2005, for participating in National Day of Iceland at Expo 2005 Aichi, Japan, as Minister of Education, Science, Sport and Culture.
