The Fifth Japan-Jordan Politico-Military (PM) Dialogue

On February 2, the fifth Japan-Jordan Politico-Military (PM) Dialogue was held in Amman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

  1. The Japanese delegation was led by Mr. MIYAKE Hirofumi, Deputy Director General of the Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ms. HAYASHI Mitsuko, Director General for International Affairs, Ministry of Defense. The Jordanian delegation was led by H.E. Ambassador Mohammad Abu-Wandi, Director of Asia, Oceania and Africa Affairs Directorate, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, and Brigadier General Mousa Haroun Al Nasarat, Head of the International Cooperation Department, Jordanian Armed Forces.
  2. The delegations exchanged views on wide-ranging issues, including Japan-Jordan security cooperation and regional situations.
