On January 29, Mr. OTSUKA Kengo, Deputy Director-General, Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, held a Japan-U.S.-ROK Trilateral Coordinating Secretariat Meeting in Seoul with Mr. Jonathan Fritz, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary, Department of State of the United States of America, and Mr. Yi Wonwoo, Deputy Director-General for North American Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea (ROK).

They reviewed the concrete advancement of the trilateral cooperation in a wide range of fields, and concurred that they would work together through the Trilateral Coordinating Secretariat to further accelerate momentum and advance their coordination on North Korea and their cooperation in security, including economic security.
