On January 15, Mr. ONISHI Yohei, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, attended the 2026 Foreign Press Center Japan (FPCJ) New Year’s Reception, which was held in Tokyo, and delivered his remarks. The overview is as follows:
- In his remarks, Parliamentary Vice-Minister ONISHI expressed his congratulations on the 50th anniversary of the FPCJ in 2026 and stated that it is significant that the FPCJ has played a role as a bridge between foreign media and the Japanese government, local governments, and Japanese companies, conveying Japan’s efforts to address various challenges toward peace, stability and prosperity to the world.
