Message of condolences from Foreign Minister MOTEGI regarding the explosion and fire occurred in the Swiss Confederation

On January 2, Mr. MOTEGI Toshimitsu, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, issued the following message of condolences to H.E. Mr. Ignazio Cassis, Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, regarding the explosion and fire that occurred in the Swiss Confederation yesterday.
“Many precious lives were lost due to the explosion and fire that occurred in a bar located in Crans-Montana, Canton of Valais. I would like to express my heartfelt condolences to those who lost their lives and send my deepest sympathies to their bereaved families. I also wish for swiftest recovery of those who were injured.
