Courtesy Call on State Minister KUNIMITSU by H.E. Mr. de Palacio, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Japan

On December 10, Dr. KUNIMITSU Ayano, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call from H.E. Mr. Iñigo de Palacio, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Spain to Japan. The overview of the meeting is as follows;
- At the outset, State Minister KUNIMITSU welcomed a multifaceted relationship built by Japan and Spain and the recent progress in bilateral defense and security cooperation, and expressed her intention to further strengthening cooperation with Spain.
- In response, Ambassador de Palacio expressed his intention to continue to work toward strengthening the relations between the two countries in various fields.
- Both sides also exchanged views on regional issues, including in the Indo-Pacific, and concurred to continue close coordination between the two countries.
