State Minister for Foreign Affairs HORII’s Attendance at the NIHONGO Partners Reception 2025 hosted by the Japan Foundation
On November 28, the NIHONGO Partners Reception 2025 hosted by the Japan Foundation was held at the Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo, and Mr. HORII Iwao, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, attended the ceremony.
At the Reception, State Minister HORII stated that more than 3,700 NIHONGO Partners have been dispatched under the “WA Project” to date representing Japan's cultural diplomacy and people-to-people exchange in Asian countries and regions including ASEAN and he praised their activities. He also addressed that the NIHONGO Partners have unique roles to play, making use of their experience to introduce Japanese culture and language and to interact with people in different cultures. He expressed his hope that they will continue to support Japan's multicultural society and to play a role as bridge of friendship and exchange with Asia.
In addition to the approximately 90 NIHONGO Partners a large number of people, including members of Parliament, members of the diplomatic corps, NIHONGO Partners dispatch project committee members, academics, and local government officials attended the Reception.
