On November 20, commencing at 4 p.m., for approximately 20 minutes, Mr. MOTEGI Toshimitsu, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call by the Honorable George Glass, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Japan. The overview is as follows:

  1. Foreign Minister MOTEGI conveyed his appreciation to Ambassador Glass for his contribution in strengthening the Japan-U.S. Alliance, and stated that he would like to work closely together to elevate the Japan-U.S. Alliance to new heights. Ambassador Glass underscored the unwavering commitment of the United States to the Japan-U.S. Alliance.
  2. Building on the outcomes of the U.S President Trump’s recent visit to Japan, Foreign Minister MOTEGI and Ambassador Glass also exchanged views on Japan-U.S. cooperation in a wide range of fields and current regional affairs.
