Delisting of Two Individuals Designated for Asset Freezing and Other Measures against Terrorists and Others

In line with the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Resolutions 1267, 1989, 2253 and related ones, Japan has been applying asset freezing and other measures on a total of 540 terrorists-affiliated individuals and entities. The Government of Japan hereby lifts the asset freezing and other measures against two individuals while delisting of these, in accordance with the UNSC Resolution 2799.

  1. Decision
    Two individuals are to be removed from the designated list for the asset freezing and other measures based on the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Notice promulgated on November 12, 2025.

    No.637 AHMAD HUSSAIN AL-SHARAA
    No.668 ANAS HASAN KHATTAB

(Note) As a result of this decision, a total of number of individuals and entities designated for asset freezing and other measures will be 538.
