Message of condolences from Foreign Minister MOTEGI following the damage caused by the hurricane in the Caribbean region

On October 31, Mr. MOTEGI Toshimitsu, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, issued a message of condolences to Hon. Kamina Johnson Smith, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica, regarding the damage caused by Hurricane “Melissa,” which struck Jamaica on October 28. The message expresses heartfelt condolences to the Government and the people of Jamaica, sincerely praying for the early recovery of the affected people as well as the prompt restoration of the damaged areas.
