Courtesy call on State Minister for Foreign Affairs Fujii by Mr. Nasser SHRAIDEH, Ambassador-Designate, Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Japan

On July 16, Mr. FUJII Hisayuki, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, received a courtesy call by Mr. Nasser SHRAIDEH, Ambassador-Designate, Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Japan. The overview is as follows.
- At the outset, State Minister Fujii stated that Jordan plays an important role in the evolving international situation. He also expressed gratitude for Jordan’s support in evacuating Japanese nationals from Israel due to the situation in the Middle East.
- In response, Ambassador-Designate Shraideh explained the latest situation on the ground and Jordan’s diplomatic efforts and also stated that it is imperative to cooperate with Japan, as a close and important partner. He then expressed his appreciation to Japan for its support.
- They affirmed commitment to closely collaborating in various fields.
