On May 19 (local time, on May 20, Japan time), Mr. OKOCHI Akihiro, Deputy Director-General, Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, held a Japan-U.S.-ROK Trilateral Coordinating Secretariat Meeting with Mr. Kevin Kim, Deputy Assistant Secretary, Department of State of the United States of America and Mr. Yi Wonwoo, Deputy Director-General for North American Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea (ROK), in Washington D.C.

They reviewed the advancement of the trilateral cooperation in a wide range of fields, and concurred that they would work together trilaterally through the Trilateral Coordinating Secretariat to further accelerate the momentum.
