  1. The Rt Hon. Lisa Nandy MP, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will pay a visit to Japan from May 20 to 22.
  2. During her stay in Japan, Secretary Nandy will participate in the UK National Day Event of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, on May 22, as official guest of the Government of Japan.
  3. Japan and the UK are an enhanced global strategic partner and have made progress in various fields, including security and defense, economy, and people-to-people exchanges. It is expected that the visit of Secretary Nandy to Japan and the UK's participation in the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan will further deepen bilateral relations.
